Information about BCEEE

Baikal Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship (BCEEE) was founded on October 7th, 2007 as the result of collaboration between Baikal University and National Council on Economic Education.

Our mission

In the modern society improvement of economic education and entrepreneurial environment is the important part of society development. Our mission is to improve economic education and entrepreneurship in the Baikal region through:

  • promoting forming of economic way of thinking;
  • promoting forming of entrepreneurial environment and development of entrepreneurial activity;
  • promoting dissemination of economic education and managerial knowledge;
  • promoting raising of economic education level;
  • promoting development of economic education system.

Our goals

According to the mission our goals are:

  • initiation and realization of international programs in the field of economic and business education, bridging with local, regional, national and international organizations dedicated to promoting economic education;
  • organizing of cooperation between public and private schools, colleges and universities which are specialized on the teaching of economic and business courses for the assurance of goals, objectives and programs for economic education;
  • promoting development and realization of programs for economic and business education of pupils, students and other trainees;
  • training and retraining of managers and specialists for businesses and authority;
  • organizing, conducting and participations in research and practical programs dedicated to forming of favorable environment for entrepreneurial activity in the Bai-kal region;
  • organizing within BCEEE non-formal association of teachers and trainers of eco-nomic and business courses for the experience exchange;
  • promoting development and improvement of curriculums, teaching courses, meth-ods and materials and their approbation;
  • training and retraining of teachers of economy using active learning methods;
  • organizing of experience exchange through conferences, seminars etc.

The first joint study course for entrepreneurs started on October 7th, 2005.

The main foreign BCEEE’s partners are:

National Council on Economic Education (NCEE) – U.S.-based educational or-ganization based on 270 best US universities;
Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (CNAM) – French national retraining and research organization consist of 150 retraining centers in France and all around the world;
Hochshule Offenenburg – German economic university, based in the Gengenbach city.
